Young's Seafood Company has appointed SHS Sales & Marketing to
manage the frozen side of the Young’s business within the ROI market.
Young’s Seafood Company was founded back in 1805 and is now the Number 1 Seafood Brand across the British Isles, with a turnover of over £600 million across chilled and Frozen.Young’s have a very strong market position within the frozen fish category, with a turnover of £357 million, Young’s command the No 1 position in the following categories:
- Battered Fish
- Prawns
- Scampi
- Recipe Meals
- Seafood Meals
With their Headquarters in Grimsby, Youngs operate in nine manufacturing sites across the British Isles. For the Irish launch, Young’s plan to support their brands with heavyweight promotional activity supported with a television campaign once weighted distribution has been achieved.
Young’s have also embraced the ‘sustainability’ agenda with their ‘Fish for Life’ programme, concerned with the health and well being of their consumers they have now moved to sunflower oil in all their production in order to reduce saturated fats.
